Welcome to Catman Tours & Travel Ltd (“Catman,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By booking a tour, safari, or related service with us—whether through our website, by email, or in person—you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.

2. Bookings & Payments
2.1 Reservations
A booking is confirmed once we receive a completed booking form and a deposit payment of at least 30% of the total tour cost (unless stated otherwise in writing).
2.2 Balance Payment
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the tour start date. For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required immediately upon confirmation.
2.3 Accepted Payment Methods
We accept payments via:
- Bank transfer
- M-Pesa
- Credit/debit card (subject to processing fees)
- Cash payments (in Kenya Shillings or USD)
3. Cancellations & Refunds
3.1 Client Cancellations
If you cancel your booking, the following charges will apply:
- More than 60 days before departure: Full refund less 10% admin fee
- 30–59 days before departure: 50% of total cost retained
- Less than 30 days before departure: 100% of total cost retained
All cancellations must be received in writing via email.
3.2 Company Cancellations
Catman Tours & Travel reserves the right to cancel a trip due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest). In such cases, we will offer an alternative tour or a full refund.
4. Changes & Amendments
4.1 Client-Initiated Changes
We will make every effort to accommodate reasonable changes to your itinerary. Changes may be subject to an administration fee and any additional supplier costs incurred.
4.2 Company-Initiated Changes
We may adjust itineraries, routes, or accommodations due to safety, weather, or operational reasons. Equivalent or better-quality services will be provided wherever possible.
5. Travel Documents & Requirements
- Clients are responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas, and any required health certificates (e.g., yellow fever vaccination).
- We advise all travelers to purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and personal belongings.
6. Health & Safety
Participants should be in good physical and mental health suitable for safari and outdoor travel. Catman Tours & Travel and its guides have the right to refuse participation if a traveler’s condition may affect the safety or enjoyment of others.
7. Wildlife & Environmental Responsibility
Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed as animals roam freely in their natural habitats. We encourage responsible tourism practices and respect for local communities, wildlife, and ecosystems.
8. Liability Disclaimer
Catman Tours & Travel Ltd acts as an agent for hotels, transport providers, and other independent contractors. While we select reputable suppliers, we are not liable for:
- Injury, loss, or damage to persons or property;
- Delay, cancellation, or disruption due to weather, natural disasters, strikes, government actions, or acts of God;
- Any expenses or losses resulting from factors beyond our reasonable control.
Our maximum liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid to Catman Tours & Travel for the specific tour service.
9. Complaints & Feedback
If you experience any issue during your trip, please inform your guide or our office immediately so that corrective action can be taken. Written complaints must be submitted within 14 days after the tour ends.
10. Photography & Marketing
By joining our tours, you consent to the use of photographs or videos taken during your trip for marketing and promotional purposes, unless you notify us in writing before or during the tour.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts.
12. Privacy & Data Protection
We respect your privacy. Personal information collected during booking is used solely for processing reservations and travel arrangements in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
13. Acceptance of Terms
By confirming a booking with Catman Tours & Travel Ltd, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
